The Technology Learning Initiative "Next Technology Leaders" (NTL), is an new initiative that was launched by H.E. President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi to build capacity of young calibers on the latest information and communications technologies (ICT) and Electronics. The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) leads executing the NTL Initiative through the Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center of the Information Technology Industry Development Agency.
The courses cover emerging technology areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Internet of Things, .. etc. As well as business-related areas like strategic management, business model innovation, .. etc.
The distinctive content of the courses is prepared through the collaborative effort of top universities and leading companies, and is made available on globally leading MOOC platforms such as: Coursera, edX, and Udacity.
Courses start according to their time on the providers websites. Some courses are archived and some have a start date. Learners need to register at least one month before the start date as selection and interview process takes at least one month from registration.
There will be a ceremony to receive TIEC certificates and awards based on fulfillment of all the initiative rules. Graduates will be contacted upon grouping large numbers together, usually every 4 months.
Applying in NTL initiative is only granted once, however, if you are a graduate and recommended 3 others to successfully get enrolled and pass the first month, then you can apply again. NTL will inform you once you are eligible for this second opportunity.
