The Technology Learning Initiative "Next Technology Leaders" (NTL), is an new initiative that was launched by H.E. President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi to build capacity of young calibers on the latest information and communications technologies (ICT) and Electronics. The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) leads executing the NTL Initiative through the Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center of the Information Technology Industry Development Agency.

What are the objectives of the NTL initiative?

The NTL objectives can be summarized as follows:

Building capacity and certifying young calibers on the recent advances in communication and information technologies.
Increasing the competitiveness of local ICT companies by facilitating their training and capacity building plans.
Supporting creation of job and business opportunities for the youth through wage employment, freelancing, or startup establishment.
Forming nationwide mentoring and review networks in leading technologies to act as platform for fostering innovation and entrepreneurship.
